Lazy dullards dependent on AI ask questions like this:

I genuinely believe there are people out there who might ask something like this

Once again: Why the 🤬 shouldn’t ai do the drudgery, and help me answer technicalities of the complexities of creative intricacies, online and otherwise?
Not that I’ll be paying for SaaS, just saying it was promised to do the grunt work and answer complexities that would take months of searching.
Of course, it’s questionable whether it can even do that accurately, especially since the other day it told me I was, and I quote “right to want to implode” 🙄
Literally laughed. Perhaps it depends on the model and training methodology.
How it seems to me is that capitalists want to claim an idea, whether it’s theirs or not, and rush some model to production, without deep, thorough investigation of
- Desired goal of the product or service (beyond extract wealth from as many people as possible)
- A wider range of desirable and undesirable potentialities from the target consumers’ perspectives
- Necessarily following, potential implications, beyond immediate and obvious cost-risk liability assessments
Which obviously leads to unforseen or improperly assessed risks for the targeted consumers. As long as insurance will cover the costs of liability, without too much of a premium increase or cancellation, they really don’t care about damage mitigation to consumers.
technically we already have an ai that does the dishes, its just insanely limited because all it has to do is wash dishes. we call it… a dish washer.
True. Mind you, misogynists have an alternate name for it: they call them women. And it’s at that point we realise that misogynists are the real artificial intelligence in the world.
The world was perfect then the human step out of its lane and decided it was too good for it. The that ape took a dump on it.
Sharks are biting back too. Literally.
I was excited about the whales. But apparently the Marine Biologist determined that the attacks were being done by juvenile male pods. Whales are super smart, but coming with this they actually create social “trends”. They believe this is the current social trend among “teenage” males. Destroying the propeller on the boats and then leaving. They apparently do random shit like this all the time. But this was the first that involved destruction of a boat.
Basically they are doing the equivalent of a group of teens smashing mail boxes or other minor acts of vandalism. Whales are cool. But I wanted them to be specifically mad at rich peoples yachts. Was disappointed.

Yeah we used to imagine a future where all the household tasks were done by robots, and we humans busied ourselves with intellectual work (e.g. The Jetsons).
But as it turns out, generating text and computer files is relatively easy for machines, but physical robotics in uncontrolled dynamic environments is a tough problem.
That pretty much sums it up. Of course, and it might just be with hindsight, but sometimes I do wonder why anyone ever thought things would turn out like that? 🤔
They are working on it. First it will be AI (Actually, Indians) driving robots. Then it will be AI (Also, Indians) driving robots.
So so accurate. All the while the community of perpetual users of AI (Actual Imbeciles) sit back on their arses picking fights with a phone screen 🙄
Because you were smart and either didn’t hook your dishwasher up to the WiFi or didn’t buy the AI+ pro platinum model with a premium subscription.
It’s these kinds of comments that make my day
You’re the kind of poster that makes my day :3
Why thank ye
Or like, realistically, if you had an AI powered robot in your house, I would only want it for one thing, and that would be to take clothes out of the dryer and put them on coat hangers. It doesn’t even have to put them in the closet. I’d be okay with it putting it on a rack.
I just hate taking the clothes out of my dryer, and I want something to do that for me.
Yeah but lazy buggers wouldn’t stop at hanging clothes up. And they know it
Because AI and robotics are different fields?
👍
