This depends where you live. Prices can be relative.
I live in an apartment and electricity is included in the rent. I have not seen an electricity bill for most of my life.
I also have a cabin off grid and installed solar panels. In summer, I cover most of my basic needs with four 100W panels. Lights, laptop, phone, speakers, fan, water pump, sometimes a small fridge, are all powered by a few batteries and the sun. I only use gas for cooking.
If I had a house I would get an electricity bill, but the price of electricity in my part of the world is pretty low compared to other places. Someone living in Australia or France will pay double of what I would pay. But I’d still complain it’s too high.

Snoop dances for Trump, fuck him.
Came here to say same thing. Toweli would be a better high representative than that cheap sellout “snoop I will do anything for money dog”.
I’ve never tried money dog.
Then it makes even more sense! Cause the electric companies are just Trump turned into a company. Bunch of crooks.
Solar panels are great if you can get some. Both for the bill and the dirt.
Everything is cheaper when you’re rich.
You don’t have to be rich, that’s what loans are for Solar is also way cheaper in other non-us countries
Also balcony solar is coming to the US so it’ll be more accessible
You don’t have to be very rich but you definitely need to have some personal savings to invest like that. 40% of Americans don’t have enough savings to pay for a $1000 emergency. 23% had to use savings to pay for holiday expanses. I bet it’s not much different in Europe. A lot of people can’t afford any extra expenses.
I just take issue with the word “rich”
Like all those people are poor, primarily as a result of the politicians and corporate greed. I ain’t rich but I’m luckily far from that 40% grouping. I’d probably be grouped as the elusive middle class
The middle class isn’t elusive it’s house rare these day’s. Middle-class household are usually doctors, lawyers, scientists, or small business owners. That makes a pretty small percentage of the population. Middle class in America is 200-400k a year as a household. Only 10% of us household make that money.
Where is it defined as 200-400k a year?
I thought it was based off of savings and ability to vacation
It’s all relative, right? What I meant is that most people that can afford solar panels don’t struggle with electricity bills. It’s a smart investment for them, not a life saving one. People that actually need it can’t afford it.
Ben Folds had a song about it. Something about getting free coffee once he was rich. No one gives poor people nice things. The richer you are the more things you get for free.
That’s why I mentioned if you can get some. Just because some can’t get it, doesnt mean no one should consider it right?
Fuck snoop dog, he sucks nazi cocks.
We need to start subbing Willy Nelson into memes like this, he can smoke Snoop under the table anyways by Snoops own admission
