Are you fighting for humanity or a business disguised as a nation? Genuinely ask yourself why you promote change of something that you actually shouldn’t even be a part of if you live for authentic humanity.

Part of me thinks this is why memory prices are being held high. Even if supply increases I doubt we’ll see significant reductions in price.

Frontier AI models will only be accessible by the rich and powerful (government and corpos). Distilled frontier models for local use may exist but will be arbitrarily out of reach for most due to hardware availability or pricing.

This is all by design.

Its not inevitable, I do think that anarchist syndicalism is the best vehicle for stopping this. We can change whats cool, we can be accepting and capture the zeitgeist with interesting social relations rather than purely technological developments.
