The frequent association of myceneans with piracy and raiding seems more jock than nerd to me.
And the hittites often erupted into disruptive bouts of sibling-killing without the adequate succession planning a nerd would have. That’s jock and goth. Plus they literally cursed the city they then made their capital. That’s way goth.
More seriously, Germanic civilization doesn’t really come into its ’own’ until the Migration Period and the fall of Rome, which is generally considered the end of antiquity.
How is Rome more jock than nerd??? All the fucking technology? Even their army was run by nerds with every various level of organisation having specific supply chain, materiel requirements, supporting staff requirements all spelled out before hand down to the dinarius.

Yeah I might have been mixing “preppy” with “nerd”. I can see it, super organised and aesthetic but not really nerdy and thinky.
