Not even the only example of transgender people being associated with divinity.

Always remember what they stole from you, for ye were gods and remain gods.

I’m a goddess and I use capitalised pronouns because fuck the patriarchy and fuck cis grammar

Ah, I have a little bit of knowledge on a little part of this - namely, use of cannabis amongst the Scythians!

The Scythians then take the seed of this hemp and creep under the felt coverings, and then they throw the seed upon the stones which have been heated red-hot: and it burns like incense and produces a vapour so think that no vapour-bath in Hellas would surpass it: and the Scythians being delighted with the vapour-bath howl like wolves.[72]

  • Herodotus

Who are the Scythians?

Nomadic peoples of the Classical-era Pontic Steppe.

Noted for their variety of customs which puzzled their Hellenic neighbors, their fierceness in war, and their craftsmanship despite being largely non-sedentary.

They’re the original people that the Greek myths of Amazons are based on. Basically what I’m saying is, Wonder Woman is a trans stoner.

We’ve always existed, and often we wind up existing in similar roles. The gallae of Rome are another example, though not respected.

Also, yeah the Scythians were cool as fuck

We’ve always existed

Incidentally, We Have Always Existed is an enjoyable YT channel discussing trans people in history (mostly classic antiquity).

Thanks fam, looking forward to watching it.

Fascinating, if anyone has any suggestion of books on/about this I’d be interested to learn more. Clearly these are my ancestors ;)

Stuff like this is what makes me laugh when I hear some chud waxing poetic about “traditional values”. Their definition of traditional is always completely arbitrary.

Plot twist: they are misunderstood and want to worship trans people as gods and simply can’t properly express their discontent.

These are our foremothers, sisters. We must honor their ways by getting high and having snake orgies.

with the mountain itself being inaccessible to mortals because of mountains

I like this logic
