Why must we defer everything to probabilities and rubbing a few tokens together?

What purpose does it even serve? The consumer couldn’t give a fuck.

The ‘agentic smartphone’ angle is very curious.

Why would want the smartphone as the platform for running your “agentic AI” platform.

Seems the intent is indeed to run such services on the edge and not the cloud, with the core use cases is using a voice activated LLM services instead of using mobile apps. So it wasn’t merely PR policy as per Qualcomm, they are referring to something specific.

Funny thing is I generally avoid using apps and stick to mobile web whenever I am dealing with something that cannot be leveraged via an independent open source app.
