[Steam] "Quester and "Quester | Osaka" leaving Steam this month, replaced by updated releases

Developer Thousand Games announced on Twitter on Thursday morning that their existing titles on Steam, Quester and Quester | Osaka, will be delisted toward the end of this month. “Migration support” is promised to potentially bring existing player data over to Metro Quester and Metro Quester | Osaka with more details to be shared on the games’ Steam Community pages soon.

The Steam versions of the #QUESTER series will be delisted in late April.
KEMCO’s METRO QUESTER series will launch with migration support for existing users.

This is a positive step forward for the future of the series.

Thousand Games Announcement – April 02, 2026

The series started on Steam in 2022 before making the jump to consoles in 2023 with upgraded versions bearing the Metro name. It appears the plan now is to delist the oldest versions on Steam and release the equivalent Metro versions on April 23rd. The original releases should remain available to anyone who owns them before the delisting.
