I saw that they announced the sequel but haven’t looked at any trailers yet. I played this first one in early access and it was pretty good but I never felt compelled to check back in after full release. Will be interesting to see how they iterate with 2

This is a good game, it plays really slowly as the initial grind is severe. Later on, with the mechanic a DLC added, it makes resource gathering less tedious. It’s a reward for that big grind…

I got it for free, but I couldn’t get through it. It was grindy (even as I got to the point where I could make a zombie worker or something similar (though I didn’t actually do that yet)) and didn’t really hold my attention. I’ve not played stardew, harvest moon, nor any others that I can think of, so it may just be the genre isn’t really for me.

Yeah, Graveyard Keeper is a total grind fest without a real deadline…So it’s not so bad in that sense. As I love most of the games that you mentioned, it might not be your genre, and that is totally fine! The farming/simulation sim is one of the many that I tend to enjoy.

A lot of fun and plays great on the deck. If you like games like stardew this will feel similar.

Kind of makes me want to start another run of it.

It’s fun, silly, irreverent. A little bleak at times. The original game was a little confusing and got boring after a while, but it’s my understanding that the DLC added a lot to it.
