That’s only 11km/7 miles per day. Not likely for an indoor animal but not inconceivable for a pet either.

I’d be more willing to believe it if the second comma was a decimal point.

Still not likely, but becomes slightly more likely if we’re counting the full distance of the arc hopped, and not just the horizontal distance travelled.
