Has someone already tried to solve the world’s energy problems by hooking up a generator to John Perry Barlow’s grave?
block AI services
Yes
without age verification
Goddamnit, you dense motherfuckers…
The ship has already sailed on that, with programs like AnythingLLM - you can very easily run your own local mode. You don’t need to interact with the companies, only their training data (and putting in your own default system prompt, they’re fairly easy to “jailbreak").

Maybe I’m just tired but this reads like a fucking riddle.
They want to block “app stores” that don’t block “AI apps” that don’t block “harmful content” from kids?
(And of course it’s left lovely and murky what any of those terms actually mean.)
Also, “consider”. What does that even mean. Everybody reading the text did in fact “consider” it.
I mean there are questions being asked about online gambling ads again. Time to find some other way to “protect the children” to avoid having to legislate around something with actual societal consequences, and lobbyists.
