According to available filings, Elect Chicago Women, a PAC backed by AIPAC’s political network, has already spent $2,887,149 supporting Laura Fine. Meanwhile, a deceptively named group called the Chicago Progressive Caucus has spent an additional $389,256 promoting Fine while attacking Kat Abughazaleh.

two section digital pixel drawing. first section has grass field with a grey rocky spherical dome covered by grass with a whole in the top and one larger one in the front. there are yellow butterflies around and the background shows large clouds and a blue sky. second section shows the interior of the dome, showing spherical groves. in the center there is a moth-looking red character sitting and drinking tea with a blue ghost looking character with a yellow cape. there are also butterflies with the same color flying around

note about the OC* the imagery is based on “daylight prairie”, specifically the butterfly fields from the game Sky: Children of the Light looks very similar to source material, but is in fact not traced ~ shock noises * a question for u: what thoughts put you at ease?** for me, its imagining either sitting in a nice looking garden all alone and drinking tea ~ i told myself that i would post today, and so – here we go. have a butterfly charmer the butterfly charmer is the blue-ish character! they charm — which is super duper very much cutie andand i wanna hug and kiss them (after getting consent of course) and have a date- like shown in the drawing so like yeah– daylight prairie is such - like - …. mygosh… its heaven. here the song that plays in this area they know. they know what they have created here. mygosh. wow. wowie zowie i will try to post more in the coming days <3

Blast furnace road at night, Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany (2025)

Community iconc/thenightfeeling@lemmy.world by
Innerworld@lemmy.world

The light installation was put into operation as permanent lighting in December 1996. It was designed by British artist Jonathan Park. The three colors red, green and blue are reminiscent of the functions of the ironworks: fire and heat, gas and water. The Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park (also known as “LaPaNo” or “LaPaDu” for short) is a landscape park covering around 180 hectares surrounding a disused steelworks in Duisburg-Meiderich. The former plant was founded in 1902 by August Thyssen as a “joint-stock company for metallurgical operations” to supply his Siemens-Martin steelworks in Bruckhausen and Styrum, and went into operation on May 16, 1903, with the firing up of blast furnace 1. In 1985, blast furnace 5 was shut down after just twelve years of operation due to overcapacity on the European steel market, making it the last remaining blast furnace. In the 1990s, the halls, buildings, and outdoor areas were redesigned according to plans by architects Peter Latz + Partner. In 1994, the park was opened to the public.
